CLAUSE” TYPE II, THE PAST FORM OF BE “WERE” IS USED FOR BOTH SINGULAR AND
PLURAL SUBJECTS IN CONDITIONAL SENTENCES TYPE II INSTEAD OF “WAS”, EVEN IF
THE PRONOUNS SUCH AS I, SHE, HE, OR IT.
